A Story about an Asian Trip and our Secret Tangerine Teriyaki Sauce

I was on a business trip to Hong Kong. I was sight seeing and a bit bored.
Then, for some reason, I stopped in this exotic restaurant. I ordered my favorite,
dish which is Teriyaki Chicken. When the meal was placed on the table I noticed
an unique aroma and color of the sauce. Of course, I immediately, tasted
it and was in love! Wow! this is a great sauce. I must make a sauce like this!
So, over the next several days I had dinner there and kept tying to figure
out the ingredients. Of course, I could only guess. So when I arrived home
I threw my luggage aside and went to my kitchen. I was determined to
make a sauce that was even better and like no other. Time went by and after
several weeks I had it! I tested on my family, relatives, my neighbors and
everyone loved it!

This sauce was first introduced to the public in 2016 at my restaurant
in Blaine, Washington at the Sweet Tangerine Teriyaki (renamed to Teriyaki secret).
It was an instant success with many comments such as: Awesome! Addictive! and the like.
In fact, in the last 2 years we have only had one customer who did not like
the flavor. One thing I can tell you is that I do not offer anything that I would
not feed to my family. I do not add MSG, etc. and I do not use any canned ingredients.
Only the best ingredients.
