Pad Thai High!
From the Exotic Asian Fusion Restaurant
with 11 "secret sauces"
The Pad Thai Story
The detailed origins of Pad Thai are complicated. First of all, the roots of the dish are Chinese. Its full name is kway teow phat Thai. Kway teow means rice noodles in a Chinese dialect, and the entire name means stir-fried rice noodles Thai-style. Noodles and stir-frying are very Chinese, however flavors like tamarind, palm sugar and chilies are Thai in origin. It is believed that in 1939 the Thai government mandated a national dish and a competition was held. Pad Thai was then chosen as the national dish.
1. Start with the finest de-boned meat
2. Hand inspect and remove fat
3. Overnight in our marinade "secret sauce"
4. Grill to perfection in our Open Kitchen
5. Topped with our peanut "secret sauce"
Our Asian chef has developed a unique three step process that infuses the meat with a depth of flavor hereto unmatched. We call it the "Zing effect" or the flavor that just keeps on giving. First, immersed overnight with our marinade "secret sauce". Then grilled to perfection in our open kitchen. Finally, slathered with our Sweet Peanut "secret sauce". Plus the Chinese chilies drive the flavor home. Our patrons describe the flavor as with great depth, as addictive, wow! and they just keep coming back for more.
